Hello, i recently bought a Samsung Dual Layer DVD Writer +- I inserted some DVD+R and it worked then i inserted a film that was DVD+R and it worked too but then when i tried inserting a DVD-R again it didnt work an error came out like the following:

Could be a firmware issue. Try for an update at samsung. The firmware tells the dvd player to recognize different manufactured discs. NOT all discs are are created equal. Also you could try a different brand of disc. The longer a said company has been in the dvd burning bizness, the more mature the firmware of the drives tend to be.
