HELP!!!!

I recently removed a worm using mcaffee but i get the message drvrquery32.exe on screen at start up!!!

I cant get rid of it. Can I just supress the tick in the driver 32 box in the msconfig or will this do something drastic?

Please help!!

For the present untick the box in MSConfig. It appears this entry was installed by the BooHoo virus. Do a Google search on the drvquery32.exe entry. I suggest that you post this in the Security and Virus Forum on the left of the screen for better results.

There is no harm in unticking most anything from this list. All that does is stop windows from loading that entry at startup. It doesn't remove the entry from the computer. It appers that you may want to take further action regarding this entry. I am unqualified to advise you on how how to proceed. That is why I made other recommendations in my last response. If the BooHoo virus isn't what you removed you MAY be infected with this virus.

Cheers mate I will give it a go. I am happy that my machine is virus and spywrae free as it is fully up to date. I got rid of a nasty wild tangent message I had by deleting the tangents then supressing the tick in msconfig that was looking for non existant program at start up!

Thanks again

Neil
