Hi Guys,

I have a problem with the "Syslibie.dll" adware Trojan Clicker.

NAV 2004 Detects it but fails deleting.

I followed the removal instructions on the Symantec site.

Tried to unregister it but says 'module can't be found'.

Removed the registry key --"F195A1A9-4033-4E5B-B85C-848C3E31A83A"

Tried searching --no luck, the Syslibie.dll is still there.

Any advice.

Thanks in advance.

MoR.

Hi Per,

Thanks for the reply.

I download and installed thae "BHODemon 20020"

It indicates that the Browser Helper objects that are currently installed are:

1) ycomp5_3_19_0.dll -->> Yahoo Companion
2) AcroIEHelper.ocx -->>Adobe Helper Module
3) SDHelper.dll -->> SpyBot Search&Destroy
4) NAVSHEXT.dll -->> Norton AntiVirus

Nothing Indicates " Syslibie.dll"

I'm really stumped ?????

Hi Per,
I'm back.

Just before posting, it tried WINTASK5 PROFESSIONAL and SPYWARE REMOVER 1.1-- but nothingis picking-up the "Syslibie.dll".

=======================

This is so weird that NAV2004 detects it, even after following their removal instructions. But nothing else is.

Is it possiblea false alarm??????

I would hate to leave it to chance!!!!!

I had the same problem. What you have to do is go into folder options and under the view tab you will see a the option to hide system files. uncheck this box. you will then be able to search for,find, and delete syslibie.dll without any problems. good luck!
