Help! My computer keeps restarting - when I'm in games, when I'm in msn messenger, when I'm doing work or listening to a song - it just restarts and doesn't give me a warning sign or anything. This is very annoying because it won't save work and it will also restart right at the windows xp loading page. When it does restart it will restart like 20 times one right after another and then it will be fine. Other days I experience NO problems. help me out!

I know it's not much help bit it could be almost anything my two favourites would be 1) faulty power supply or 2) faulty reset switch on case I'm sure many others will post their favourites

If you leave your case side cover off,does it do the same?It might be a cooling problem. You can lead a horse to water but,you can't make it google!!!

definately sounds like a cooling problem. might try replacing the fan on your processor or like robert said, just remove the side cover off and see if stops the problem. Oh and more on cooling... after removing the cover check to see if there's any dust build up. dust usually causes a lot of heating problems. good luck
