I've been trying to figure out how to change audio output on my video files to increase the volume. I have a little video converter that converts almost every video file type into MPEG4, and it has the option to increase volume, so I set the volume level at 200%, but it didn't increase any of my file's sound outputs.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Have your tried the sound and audio properties in the control panel?. There are usually 3 places to change your volume. Your speakers, The application playing the media (media player, winamp etc), and the system volume, which can be controled from the control panel. By putting a check box in the "show audio controls in taskbar", you will be able to change it when you wish. A good idea would be to set it kinda high, and then use you other means of control to change it how you would like.

Well, the thing is, I want to transfer the files from my PC to my PSP (Playstation Portable), so I need the audio on the actual file to become greater... if possible.
