I have some compressed password protected files on my computer. I recently did a defrag on my hard drive and the passwords no longer work for any of my zipped files!!! Is there anything I can do to open these files, or am i screwed?

A defrag would have no effect regarding that - what else did you do? What are the file names - RIGHT click on them, look at the Properties of them, and include the file extension.

I agree with Tubes. There really is no correlation between hard drive defrag & compressed password-protected files.
