Help AVGIDSEH.SYS - XP - Raid0 Array

Specs: Windows Vista
Having update AVG I am now unable to boot my machine. I have seen the many threads about the poor update and the fix offered by way of an AVG rescue disc. This does not help and I am still unble to boot. In safe mode the computer gets as far as :

I have two hard drives in a Raid0 set.

On the rescue disk I have downloaded from AVG, I have the following four files...................Have I done this correct?

isolinux folder
usb folder
arl-version file

I have also tried to boot directly from my windows XP disc and can load my RAID driver (Sil 3114 Asus Raid Driver) as normal (on a floppy), it says 'setup is starting windows' and then shows 381560MB Disk 0 at Id 16 on bus 0 si3114r5

when I press 'enter' for install it states 'An error occurred while setup was updating partition information on : 381560 MB Disk 0 at Id 16 om bus 0 on si3114r5 [MBR]. Setup cannot continue. To quit setup, press F3.

Can anyone please help?

Kind Regards

Why not download and use Microsoft Security Essentials... it's free and is not as bloated and unmanageable as AVG has now become
