Help me please! I have a homepage hijacker "Search for..." plus Cassandra virus...What shoul I do?I tried uysing Spybot and It has removed some files but I can't see any changes...Ad aware doesn't see anything...

You need to run a virus software program to remove it try AVG version 7, also look at this site:

After you get your PC straight, you might want to anaylze why you had those problems to begin with, and take steps to prevent it from re-occurring.
Get a good anti-virus and a good firewall. Run anti-spyware programs, Adaware -Spybot- MS Beta, etc. and keep everything updated. Be careful what you download and open.

sunflake, there are lots of critters around which want to hijack your homepage. Immunize in Spybot used to lock it. Still? There're some standalone proggies available to prevent alteration. Any AV should be able to deal with your Cassandra. Recommend you get/use an AV of some sort in order to protect yourself. There're several free. There're several free online AV scans around if needed. See a list @:
