Used to have a nice tool (talking Windows 95, or even earlier) that showed Hard Disk activity on one of the rarely used leds on your keyboard. For people having their PC stuffed away somewhere, no visibility tothe led on the system itself, and/or with low-noise hard-disks, I found this a great tool ...
... but, it does not seem to exist and work for XP's anymore ! The tool was called HDLED, but any other is good as well, of course.
Anybody knowns about something similar ?

I used to use a very tiny free utility (< 1 kb) made by some Russian guy that displayed hd activity on screen, up and down arrows for read and write, other characters for other hd activities, numbers for up to four (or more?) hds, but it only displayed always on top in Dos or Win 3.1x, or in MsDos mode in Win 9x, so I stopped using it.
I know of no utility that could use rarely used leds on your keyboard.
