HDD LED doesn't work with sata raid

I just installed a PCI raid card with two maxtor drives but the hdd led doesn't work with it, I looked on the card and there's no plug for the jumper so I left it connected to the motherboard.
I'm using a Adaptec Serial ATA Raid 1210SA brand card.

Correct me if im wrong but I think the HDD LED only works with IDE peripherals.

* DIRECT IDE peripherals that is (in other words, attached directly to the mobo).

find the led connector on the card and move the mb drive lite connector to the card. It is per controller and with a 2nd controller you would need a second light. I sometimes use the yellow one for raid cards.
