HDD Filling up - once again

This is happening for the second time!!! I do not know if it is software, or what, but, byte by byte, my hard drive is slowly filling up. I have attached a list of my installed programs in case you might find anything that is bad:

I have scanned a high jack this log and found one thing to remove, which did not do anything to fix this. Come on, this is a whole different computer with different drives than the last computer that had these same problems.

Never mind, I think that it was just that phony search indexer which I somehow never got around to disabling, anyways, I do not think that it is doing it anymore.

well thanks for the info that you had resolved the issue.

but to be honest...the information concerning your applications really doesn't help unless you mention how big of a harddrive you have....and most importantly....what it was that was filling up the drive....as in what type of files?

from what I see....the applications shown and the operating system should have only taken about 10 to 12 gigs of harddrive space.

Now I have seen where there were two or three different photo editing programs along with a capturing device and all kind of went haywire fighting over control and copied each photo, video and streaming clip about a dozen times each.....needless to say that it didn't take long to fill a 250 gig drive at all!

The HDD that was filling up was a 500GB, I also have a 320GB attached, and an IDE 110GB. It was only the 500GB. But I could not tell what was filling it up. It is fixed now, so it is kind of hard to tell.
