hey guys..

i reinstalled win xp...but it didnt overwrite my old xp...now i have two windows xp, both on my c drive...how can i get rid of 1?

also...how do i format my WHOLE c drive...so that it can get rid of both the operating systems/partitions...?

To answer your first question, you should be able to delete it from My Computer if it isn't active (ie you are not currently using that install of Xp).

In answer to the second question, you need to d/load the 6 Xp setup disks from Microsoft.com and use those to boot to, rather than the cd as the cd places pre-installation files on the c drive, meaning you cannot format it, the 6 disks get rid of this problem, allowing you to format the c drive and reinstall fresh.
