Comment:

I've created 2 hardware profiles on my pc. In 1 of them i've disabled non-essential windows services. But in doing so my boot up speed has reduced in that profile...It shows "Windows is starting up" for a few seconds and then comes welcome screen. This problem is not seen in another profile. Can u tell tell which services control boot up speed??

Curious - how did you determined which windows services are "non-essential"? Instead of disabling the "non-essential" services, you could have set each to manual rather than automatic.

probably because the computer is having to restart services that you've stopped, in fact increasing the work it has to do.

Medion MIM 2080
Toshiba T2130CT
Macintosh Performa 450

All working wonderfully.
