I recently cloned my hard drive onto my larger external one and i now want to delete all the data off the original one. Can i do this without stuffing up my programs, operating system, etc??

I would suggest that deleting all of the data will definately stuff it up.

Perhaps you will need to be a little more specific by what you mean about cloning and deleting. How are you going to clone it (using what) and what data? All of the data would suggest everything as it only contains data.

While it's unlikely you'll "stuff it up" by deleting (or better yet-reformatting), you need to make sure that all your documents have been moved and all your programs are functioning as they should before you do so...
