hard drive swap in xp pro

is there a way to take a new 120gig hard drive and put it in my system (xp pro nfts file system) and make it my boot drive by copying all my files from the 20 gig that is in there now?????

use a disk imaging program like drive image or ghost to make a image of ur old HD and then restore it into the new HD....

thanks for the reply: i want to use all 120 gigs of the new drive. won't an image use only 20 gig and not let me access the other 100? also how do i format the 120 gig with nfts?

refer to the image manuals to tell you the options...
most programs can image the content of the disk and not the partition information.. so you can restore the data onto disks of diff sizes....i know at least in ghost you can..
