I was recently checking my hard drive and i realized i was running out of disk space. So I went and checked and for some reason it said i used up 30 giga byte in my Program File folder when I clearly had not. Is there a virus that takes up hard drive space or did i do a bad job counting.

More than likely it's your RESTORE POINT cache, do a disk cleanup, and once it's scanned, slect advanced and clear all but your most recent restore point.
