I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to reformat my hard drive without a floppy boot disk. Can I create a boot disk CD? My laptop has no floppy drive, although I do have a USB floppy. I'm not sure if the laptop will "see" it when I go to run a boot disk.

Can you do that with a Compaq recovery disk? Just curious.
