hi im getting hard drive problem.tell me what i do.i have maxtor 250gb hd and computer is very slow.and i cant partion.because i format it stills at zero.veryyy slow cant partition cant format what i do.and software which corrects my hd?helppp plzzzzzzzzzzz

If you partition a hard drive without using the 'quick' option, it's gonna be slow, especially for a 250GB drive. It takes a working 40GB Seagate drive I have an hour and a half to format.
It would help us if you would explain your problem better.

After rereading your original post I am not sure what your problem is either. Is it the partitioning and formatting? You know you must partition FIRST and then format.
