hard drive problem with win xp

Hi ! I have a hard drive Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 45 Gigs. When I try to install Win XP, they don't find any disk because the maximun is 32 Gigs. What can I do ??

Hi Gibs, After flash update suggested by Aug if you still have the problem then Try partitioning the disk and also you will find that you can organise your driver better. I only got 8 Gig ! I got c,d,e,f drives and I got win in drive C, win ME in drive D games for drive F etc,,, Good Luck Dave

you can get disk overlay prog "maxblast" from maxtor to solve the prob

ok, after I flashed the BIOS and I partitioned my hard disk. There was no difference. I tried with partition magic and MaxBlast and nothing work.. what can I do ??

Change partition(s) from FAT32 to NTFS. FAT only supports drives that are 32 gigs or less.

I dont know how to tell but I m fed up.
I M having Conexant Softk56 Speakerphone PCI Modem (HSF). When I install Windows XP Professional It's not detected "Best Data Data Modem" or something is detected. but does not work.
