In the power saving options in the control panel there is only the option to select "turn off hard disks".

I would like to turn off one of two drives only. Leaving one drive in operation all of the time.

Can I do this via a reg edit etc?

You can only set the Hard drive to stop spinning after an x amount of inactivity....
