Is the reason you installed a new hard drive because you couldn't access the old one?
What is the capacity of the new hard drive?
If you are attempting to install WinXP on a SATA hard drive you will need to slipstream the SATA controller drivers into the WinXP files and then burn the resulting files onto a CDR.
