Hey everyone,
I'm planning to upgrade my hard drive, but I have no idea what interface it uses. If someone could tell me what the most common interface is, that would be great. I looked online for a page explaining the interfaces with pictures, but I couldn't find a very good one...thanks for any help.

Most drives in PC uses IDE interface conforming to either ATA or SATA specifications. SATA is the newer specification, but your motherboard needs to support it.

To conform your specification you need to know the motherboard model No. Download Everest Home edition and that will tell you everything you need to know about you computer.
