Ok, page file is a 100 megs or so, cpu usage is at 6%. I can not open anything that requires explorer and the hard drive is working constantly and hard as it can. Y?!?! I finally get it to restart, and I get a "windwos has just recovered from serious system error" or whatev. Everything is fine and the little letter from M$ to u says we're researching the problem. Wth hell only takes up 6% of ur cpu from time to time, 100 megs for a page file, and constantly uses ur hard drive??? What did they screw up?

This is about the only thing I can think of. If your drive is ntfs make sure indexing is disabled. Open My computer and right ciick on your harddrive. Uncheck "Allow indexing service to index this disk for fast file searching". If thats not it you may want to scan for viruses. If you don't have any AV software you can do an online scan at http://housecall.antivirus.com
