Hard drive D

CPU/Ram: CPU 2.66 248 MB

I did a defragment when my puter was 6 days old and it told me I have 17% of my D left. How can that be? What all is on D? I have 91% of my C left.

Obviously, I'm not a puter guru by a LONG shot. LOL!!!

it is probably the recovery partion that hp/compaq does...double click your d: drive and see what is on there...

I would agree on the recovery partition. Don't format that or give it too much thought as it is only required when doing a system recovery.
