NO !

Or at least not that I know of, others may disagree.

Now lets get positive, what is your EXACT problem ? "completely messed up my whole hard drive" isn't very easy to interpret.

There is often a way out of the deepest hole but only if we know what the problem is to start with.

well what happened was ....ok... right now am using my spare hard drive. my original HDD is 20GB and a faulty IDE cable was plugged into it yesterday. now this got the files corrupted and stuff. now since i was gonna lose my documents when re-installing XP i thought that i should make a spare copy ...... so i used my spare HDD as my boot and put in my original on the secondary. XP detected it and had to restart..... i left the PC ....... when i came back it was disk checkin and truncating and correctin lost chains and stuff in thousands of clusters. HELP !!!! now when i open the drive to see the contents all i see of crazy characters and the folders can't open. it did the disk checking for about 5 hours or more and then i put it off.
