Comment:

Recently my slave 80 gig HD has been messing up and all of the files that are Rar or Zip files all have CRC errors. WHY IS THIS?! What has happened that has corrupted my drive and what can i do to make it so when i download these files they aren't automatically corrupted. I know what I have now is lost but what is the deal for future downloads? Please if someone could help it would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Reply:

if the files were corrupted when you downloaded them, you may have faulty ram. run memtest86 to test your ram modules.
