hard drive 30 Gb says no room

After upgrading from 98SE to XP everytime I download or print something the eroor message says no room on PC delete some files.Only 10Gb used on hard drive. Is this common??

Try running scandisk, it may be that windows is reporting your drives free room incorrectly.
Another thought is that you have a permenant swap file set too small.

I got the same problem and found out later that my printer driver was not compatible with XP. After download the patch from laser printer company website, I was able to fix the problem. The error message (no room on ... delet some file on your harddisk....) is now gone. Please try ... Good Luck!
