Hi..it s me again...:( when i open my computer it says (word for word)
"Smart failure predicted on hard disk 0 : Toshiba mk4025gas-(pm)
1720- S.M.A.R.T Hard drive detects imminent failure (Failing Attr: 05h)
Please back up contents of the hard drive and run HDD self in F2 setup Press F1 to continue "
Does back up mean to put everything I have in my computer in a cd or disk to save then in case my computer lost everything ?

Personally I do not trust SMART. Backing up is wise, but I wouldn't automatically trash the drive on what SMART says.
You can download a diagnostic from the hard drive manufacturer's web site and see what it says. Make sure the diagnostic doesn't wipe the drive as part of the test.
Sorry, I do not check for private messages

That's your Hard Disk Drive, smart is telling you that your hard drive is in imminent danger of failure and that you should start saving everything you want to a cd and soon. If the predicted failure comes true, you may lose everything.
