When I try to open my 80 gb hard disk, it says, "D: not accessible, the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable"
If this is a second drive, then go to the Control Panel and right click on D:\ the look at the list that pops up. If you see a "konfigureration" and/or "installeration" in the list, then you have a bug stopping the drive from opening.
Go to Start/Run and type "regedt32" hit enter. Then highlight "My Computer" and open the Edit column. Click on "FIND" and type "Konfigur" in the slot and hit enter.
Delete the entire listing and everything will be fine.
