Specs: Windows XP SP3
this is in reference to where people cant hibernate more than once in one session....

i couldnt reply to the ealier thread as it is closed. i have been having the same problem for a month. finally found the soution so thought will post it here.

first u need to search for unsigned drivers. refer article http://support.micorsoft.com/kbid=3...

after getting the unsigned files list. check which program refers to these drivers. for me it was nero 6 and partition magic 8.

uninstall the programs and delete the related drivers.

problem solved.

If you're refering to desktop systems, I've got an even better solution --- don't use hibernate or standby! Those featured where designed for mobile devices. If you want to be 'green', try adjusting your Power Scheme settings.

actually i had a pretty hard time finding an answer for this.. finally managed it today. so thought i will post my answer for others.. the orginal thread is closed for the same problem
