Handybits file shredder icon stuck

Hi, Okay I have tried everything I can think of but I uninstalled Handybits Filoe Shredder and now I have the program icon stuck on the desk top. I can run or delete the program or icon. It cant be dragged to the bin nor can i find the icon by doing an icon search. I cant find the path or anything. I have tried reinstalling and uninstalling with exactly the same reults Any ideas?

Couple of ideas, the first you may have tried:- Control Panel....Display....Desktop(tab)....Customize Desktop(button). Try to delete from there. Search www.download.com for a free file deletion programme (which hopefully will not give you the same problem!!).

That did it. After a desktop clean up it was moved to an unused desktop items folder and i was able to delete it Thanks
