well for some reason windows 2000 and xp are partioned, so i can chose between xp setup and 2000, but when i hit xp setup it goes straight to the missing hal.dll file page. i can't install xp cuz of this missing hal.dll file but i have the file in my system folder...help would be much appreciated.
ps: is it possible that my xp cd is dirty/scratched and this is the problem?
