Reboot in Safe Mode and log in to the administrator account which, if you've never used it, should not have a password. From there you can change/remove the password on the main account. If the administrator account is password protected then you will need to use methods that are frowned upon in this forum as it often brings up the question of legitimate ownership. I always have a job with this type of post. It seems one day you suddenly forgot the password you had been using for a previous length of time. I guess anything is possible but some things are more difficult to believe than others. Small wonder that we generally don't assist with passwords on this forum.
