Comment: Maxtor 80 GB HD set to master from CS. Why is system defaulting to H: drive instead of C: Local disk when I install? I disabled all Raid and SATA. I detected HD as Master, None for other IDE drives.I used delpart and did a fresh install. I see the C: drive with about 3 others as removable IC USB drives. Nothing attached. Icleared the CMOS started from scratch.
