Help! My 13 year old has a big problem on his computer. As soon as Windows begins to load, an error message window pops up saying the following:

QUAUMCTL.EXE Application Error
The instruction at 0x7c80d189 has referenced memory at 0xfc85c6f. The memory could not be read. Click ok to terminate the program.

Once we click ok - about 3 times or so to get it off, another message pops up:

The exception Guard Page Exception. A page of memory that marks the end of a data structure, such as a stack or an array, has been accessed (0x8000001) occurred in the application at location 0x100011d2. Click Ok to terminate the program.

Once we get that off, another message pops up:

IFSDDEML.EXE
The instruction at 0x7c80d189 has referenced memory at 0x537774fl. The memory could not be read. Click ok to terminate.

This entire time, the desktop can not be accessed.

I restarted the computer in safe mode. Found QUAUMCTL.exe in a folder called REBFFICE. I have no clue what this is. It has a few .bin files in it and another application called SPRPDH. I have no clue what this is (you know, it could be anything - he's 13!)

I deleted Rebffice and it's contents and rebooted. The computer would get to the point of starting windows and flash the dreaded BLUE screen (too fast to read) and then it would reboot itself. This would continue over and over.

So....I went back to safe mode and restored Rebffice. Now we are back to Guard page exceptions!

What do I do??????

Please help. He's only had this computer for about 2 months!

Learning!
