Comment:

I have a Gforce 5600 AGP installed but I can not get the drivers loaded. When try to install them from the CD, it says theres no card installed. When looking in display properties/settings/advanced/adapter/properties/resources...I get

"Conflicting Device List:
Input/Output Range 03B0 - 03BB used by:
NVIDIA nForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge
Input/Output Range 03C0 - 03DF used by:
NVIDIA nForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge
Memory Range 000A0000 - 000BFFFF used by:
NVIDIA nForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge"

How do I go about getting my drivers installed? Im new to XP so you might have to point me around.

Thanks,
Mark

From the context it seems as if you've got an nForce board. You'll have to disable the onboard graphics to free up the conflict. Its in th bios, usually somewhere around "Integrated Peripherals" or something.

Actually I solved it. I was trying to install the drivers via the supplied CD. Instead I went to the nvidia website, got the driver and everything worked out just fine. Now to resolve my processor issue and I will finally be able to screw the case shut.
