Graphic's Card Dilema...

I am having a bit of a dilema with choosing a graphic's card.
I'm either going to get the 9600 or 9600 pro. With a difference of 30 dollars between the two I am leaning towards the Pro, however I can't help but wonder if my system (amd athlon at 1 ghz) can even utilize the speeds of either of these cards.

I'm sure your system can handle it but I know for a fact 99% of all retail stores will let you return the card if you can't use it since it is hardware and not software
