Have an older VGA built in to the motherboard and I have tryed installing a PCI Video Card but wont let me use it, everytime I disable the VGA and computer says has to be restarted to take affect but when I restart the computer it starts up with found the old VGA and you go through all that again, the reason I am trying to put a new video card in is because the graphics are revered if that makes sence, photos are like painted ...maybe I dont need a video card maybe some adjustment, Needs help on this Thanks..B

Hi there,
How did you "disable" the on-board VGA?
Also, have you actually installed the PCI Video card? if so, does ME recognise it at all?

You have to dissable the on-board VGA card from the BIOS.

The correct procedure would be to install the new graphic card drivers FIRST. Then shutdown and install the card into its PCI slot. Upon boot up [immediately] enter your BIOS setup (CMOS) and disable the onboard (integrated) VGA adapter. Save those settings and reboot. After boot Windows will finish installing your new graphic card.
