I just purchased a Radeon HD2400 Pro. I currently own a older pc(compaq presario sr1303wm)with a 250w psu. Will this video card work with my pc if i put a 400w psu in it? also I dont know if my opened pci slot can be used as a slot for a graphic card? please help.
There are 3 different slot possibilities for graphics..standard PCI, AGP or PCI-express. You obviously need to match the card to the slot or it won't work. If you have a standard PCI slot & card, the 250W PSU is *probably* OK. If you have anything else, it's *probably* not OK. And installing a 400W PSU isn't necessarily an upgrade...we'd need to know the brand name & the amperage specs.

Your out of luck. The Radeon HD2400 Pro card is a PCI-Express graphics card. The computer that you mentioned in your orginal post uses either a pci or agp interface for a plug in graphics card.
