Hello I have a very odd problem with the google homepage. I cannot access the web search with google, all other searches work eg: images, groups ect. I use a cable modem to connect and if I put the connection on my old computer I have no problem using google. This problem started about 2 weeks ago and I have no clue as to why. I did not reinstall my os or add any new software.. Any help would be most welcomed..

try this. instead of typing in www.google.com, type in http://216.239.53.99 and see if google comes up or not. if it does, then it's going to be a problem with DNS.

what happens when you try to open the google search page?
nothing? or does it give a page not found error or what.
could be that something is is doing a redirect so that when you try to get to goodle it redirects to a different site.
run spybot.
