Everything I have ever searched for using Google is listed in a drop down menu on the Google search bar. I've tried deleting history, but I can't get rid of them. Does anyone know how to, thanks

Ahh, this was a problem I once had to deal with, the answer however is to when the word (aftering typing in a letter which shows options of words)is highlighted in purple *not clicked* to press the delete button.

Options button on google toolbar has an option to save the search history across sessions. I would guess that unchecking that would wipe the list each time you exit IE.
