Had a virus but did scans and repairs. Now cannot connect to Google in any form. Will not recognise www.google.com OR my gmail Or Google search. It is happy to use Yahoo search and the browser works on all other pages and emails such as Hotmail. How can I get Google to work???

Reply:

rename your Hosts file to hosts.old. Reboot and see if you can access Google.

Use explorer and SEARCH to find the hosts [no extension] file.
