Been thinking about installing Google's browser. Any do's, don'ts or warnings?
I always check with Computing.net members before installing software. :)

I read somewhere, I think last week, that Google Chrome was considered less secure than IE6...which is not very good...
I would google around more about Chrome, and you are finding comments regarding security, I would stay away...
No need to open your door any further than it is to more Inet crap...

If its of any help, I had this installed. With beta products you would expect regular updates. Whilst I used Chrome I received one update! This led me to think that Google weren't too serious about its development. It is I think now out of beta, or soon will be. Performance wise it wasn't really much faster, if at all, than IE7 or Firefox 3 but security should be your first concern. I know people love to hate Microsoft but at least they do try to fix things fairly quickly when problems are discovered as do Mozilla.
