I'm so burned out on forums, I'm quitting them all. Nothing bad has happened here to me. You all have been nothing but nice and very helpful. But the time has come to move on. Justin or Kevin please close out my account as soon as you have time.

I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid...

setishock,

It's sad to see someone with the level of experience and willingness to share it with us leave. I hope maybe you will reconsider one day as Tommyo said above. I wish you the very best in your new endeavor and I for one will miss your presence.

Sometimes makes me wonder... Seems to be a time-consuming hobby for some of us. Like most of them, I´m glad we CAN quit and move to something else whenever we want anyway...
For my peace of mind, I do it twice a year.
:)!

setishock, before you get to leave here you need to do this.

Go out in public and ask 10 random strangers if they updated windows or run an online virus scan lately.

Report back with their answers.

Well what does one say? I guess we say what we are thinking. How long have you been comming here now? I myself have been now I would guess about five years. Sometimes I dont show around for a few weeks and sometimes I stick to this thing around the clock. When I do around the clock, I often ask myself what in the world for? I have learned a bit and maybe helped one or two. Really you never actually get to know anybody very well here, only by the way they word things! They may be a totally differant person than you imagine. Im glad to know you werent offended by anyone! That happens so often sometimes. Well heres the big question, time to move on! what are you going to do now? Fly jets? race cars? Run around with fast women? What is it? I need to know, it might affect what I do when I decided to move on. Which the thouht has crossed my mind in the past a time or two. I guess I will soon change my name doc to a new updated name since after five years I am pretty sick of looking at doc! Well come around sometime and see how many of us idiots are still banging out the suggestions and losing precious hours of our lives at our desktops! Take care!

Girls just wanna have fun! Im out to help them all I can!

Setishock,

Sorry to see you go. Accounts on Computing.Net don't get closed out unless they are inactive for a very long time. Therefore, if you ever feel the need to come back, your account'll be here!

Thanks for all the help on the forums.

Any chance at us getting a check for having a long running account Justin? OH I guess not! Say justin you may have answered this before but I have not seen it. So many people try to find how to contact you personally they post a message tying to find out. What about the idea of making it visible on the homepage? I am sure you have a reason, just never heard it. I have seen your address posted on a page somewhere but its rather difficult to find and I dont think I could find it here now if I had too. Justin your king in forums! Not to mention b the way you type here a great guy! Take care master!

Just like smoking, drinking or any other drug, quitting cold turkey is very hard. If that is truly what you WANT to do I wish you all the best in whatever you have planned. As you have seen by the previous posts you will be sadly missed. It is sad that appreciation is only realised at times like these. Thank You for all your assistance in the past. I'm sure, no positive, you will be welcome back here at ANY TIME. Best wishes.
