Have a look here.<http://www.pcw.co.uk/news/1160489> Evidently G-Mail allows other users to gain total access to your account and Google has yet to answer to it. BE WARNED!

Interesting that they posted a job resume to google on the site. LOL!
My 2 cents- Anyone who uses email to communicate with any expectation of privacy is not thinking unless that person is using 128 encryption regardless of the mail server.

I agree with KTTD. I posted a security site yesterday and a poster was surprised it recognized her ip doing a firewall check. It was supposed to! Every time you go on the net you are possibly opening up every thing on your machine to a hacker. There are things you can do like a fire wall, router , A/V etc. But you have to keep ahead of the ASS7oles that just want to screw with the system because they don't have a life and that is their entertainment. Sorry for the diatribe!!

It's not a diatribe when it describes the truth and the status quo. If anything, it's understated. But I also don't have as much patience as I should when people don't install all those things that can and do help that are out there, and keep up to date, as per says.

Is that the same flaw as this one (reported back in October/November) or a totally new & different one?

I'm not insensitive, I just don't care.

Boy they are going to be pretty bored looking at my email. They will probably fall asleep trying to read it. hehehe
Truthfully though, I would really be biffed if someone got in there and deleted all my email.

As they state here.

We do realise that Gmail is an invitation-only service in a beta-test state of development,"

I'm sure they will enhance the security once the final product comes out.. I really like Gmail. The speed, reliability, space and ease of use is real nice.

Am i conscerened if they get my pass and look at my mail? Nope. All my Important email that has personal information and sales I run through my work server which is alot more secure than Gmail..

use Smart emailing habits and you'll be just fine.
