Comment:

I have three identical brand PC's connected together through a Router. I've finished installing/configuring one, and would like to use Norton Systemworks 2003 (ie. Ghost) to image this PC, and place it over the other two.

I thought this was a simple part of Ghost, but it would appear not. Could someone please direct me to an online guide that details the procedure? My Google search has found nothing.

i think its only possible to ghost to local drives, not over a network. take the hard drive out of the other two and just wop them in the finished computer then ghost them. make sure you change the computer names before you add them to the network.

are these machines running the corporate versions of XP as otherwise they will need to be activated and this will fail as you can only, in theory, only install and activate windows on one machine.

I ghost over the network quite often and
I use Norton's GhostCast Server (Version 7)
Once I've ghosted the image to each machine,
I then run "Ghostwalker" on each machine.
I can do 22 computers in 15 minutes through
the network.
