Ghost files on desktop.

I have Ghost files on my desktop that are semi transparent and when I attempt to delete them, I recieve a "Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk". Does anyone know how I can remove them?

Have you tried to Take it out from the Safe Mode ?
Ps:There is a Freeware Program called "Move in Boot" it Will Take For you everything you do not like

Run disk cleanup, then shutdown and restart your computer.
