We are trying to acheieve one XP image across all our PC's. We had a few early teething problems which were solved by changing HAL types and using the SYSPREP -bdsm option to generate drivers for massstorage devices.
The new image has been sucessfully placed on varying architectures apart from our Dell Dimension L566cx series. When we place the image on here all appears well until opening control panel and the following message pops up :-
I have tried running a repair and replacing the dll, also tried expanding the dll from original media but nothing seems to work. Has anyone any experinece of these one or any ideas about what a fix may be.
