Comment:

Both my Vista and XPH's Narrators don't seem to do much more than read the webpage window titles (as opposed to reading webpage articles aloud for me).

It reads aloud in notebook, Word, etc., but not finding much usefulness in MSIE webpages. It announces/reads keystrokes, even reads what I've typed in this post's draft dialog box, just not finding it reading aloud the expected articles and text found on webpages.

My MSIE doesn't list any add-ons, maybe Narrator is a must add-on?

Wow, I never knew about that program and one of the reasons might be that I frequent a chat channel where there are some blind DJs and they never mentioned it. They probably don't like it or they just like other programs better.

Either way, they would be able to answer your question in detail.

Jenn', thanks but the link offered no more than does the Windows help & support utility.

guapo, thanks but as you don't see a reader as useful, happ-e-trails.

All, if the reader just doesn't or isn't supposed to work in a nothing fancy fresh install on XPH/SP4, I wish there were posts about it.

Reader reads webpage texts pretty well using Vista Ho Prem, just not on my XHP.
