How do you uninstall Mozilla browser when it got into my system without my knowing? Where would I locate the file in the registry or is there another way. I did not install it but it is there. I have Yahoo browser and I dont need another one.

Have you looked in Add/Remove programs to see if it's there? I don't know of any way Mozilla browser could get on your computer unless it was installed. Is it listed on your All Program list?

mozilla doesn't actually write anything into the registry, just delete the files from harddisk - you know where the main mozilla files reside on your harddisk, don't you? if not, look at the address specified in the mozilla symbolic link.
the user settings file are stored at pathTo\documents and settings\application data\mozilla , delete the entire folder
Oh, and btw, mozilla doesn't install itself by itself, YOU must have installed it, otherwise it wouldn't be on your pc. You got amnesia? lol

php,
Au contraire! The Mozilla browser places MANY entries in [my] WinXP Registry. I doubt you'll find any installed program that does not have at least a few Registry entries.

Thanks Mikeo - Most of the replies to my inquiry were a bit insulting and not very civilized. I did not knowingly install Mozilla. At least php did tell me where to find the file and thats all I was asking, not for sarcasm.

I did not knowingly install Mozilla.
ferz,
First, bear in mind that I'm not insulting or making fun of you. I need to state for the record that, aside from virus, NO SOFTWARE GETS INSTALLED WITHOUT USER INTERACTIONS. It may not be you but it could be someone else who used your PC.

ferz,
I do have to agree with the others; Mozilla does not install by itself. If you didn't do it someone else did.
